IT Essentials (30 credits) offers students a hands-on, career-oriented learning experience, with an emphasis on practical activities to help students develop fundamental computer and career skills. Students learn the basics of both hardware and software as well as how to troubleshoot, maintain and build computer systems. Students will be given the opportunity to study and test for a PC Pro Certification upon completion of the IT Essentials pathway.
Cyber Security (30 credits) provides students with principles of data and technology security in computer systems. Students will gain insight into how security flaws are exploited and what measures may be taken to defend against such situations; both in a professional and personal environment.
